FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

WHEN AND WHERE IS THE LEXINGTON PRIDE FESTIVAL? 

The 2026 Lexington Pride Festival will be held Saturday, August 29, from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Breeden Insurance Amphitheater. 

IS THE FESTIVAL FREE?

Yes! The Lexington Pride Festival is free and open to the community. No ticket or registration is required to attend.

IS THE FESTIVAL FAMILY-FRIENDLY? 

Absolutely! Lexington Pride is an all-ages community celebration. 

 

WHERE CAN I PARK? 

Public parking is available at 205 E 3rd Ave and throughout Uptown Lexington. We recommend allowing a little extra time to park and walk to the amphitheater, especially during the busiest parts of the festival.

 

ARE PETS ALLOWED?

No. Pets are not permitted at the Breeden Insurance Amphitheater. Service animals are permitted. Please plan to leave pets safely at home.

 

WILL FOOD AND DRINKS BE AVAILABLE? 

Yes! Food and beverage vendors will be on site throughout the festival. We encourage you to support our participating vendors and businesses while you’re here.

 

WHAT HAPPENS IF IT RAINS? 

Lexington Pride Festival is planned as a rain-or-shine event. In the event of severe weather or other conditions that affect the festival, updates will be shared through Lexington Pride’s social media channels.

WHAT SHOULD I BRING?

We recommend comfortable shoes, sunscreen, water, and whatever you need to enjoy a summer afternoon outside. Chairs or blankets are also welcome if you plan to settle in for the entertainment.

WILL THERE BE PHOTOGRAPHY AT THE FESTIVAL? 

Yes. Lexington Pride photographers will be documenting the festival, and photos may be used on our website, social media, and future promotional materials. 

HOW IS LEXINGTON PRIDE KEEPING THE FESTIVAL SAFE AND WELCOMING? 

We want everyone to be able to celebrate Pride safely and comfortably. Festival organizers, volunteers, and security personnel will be available throughout the event. Harassment, threats, intimidation, or behavior that interferes with others’ ability to safely enjoy the festival will not be tolerated. If you need assistance at any point, please speak with a Lexington Pride volunteer or event staff member.

HOW CAN I VOLUNTEER?

Submit your interest in volunteering here, and a board member will reach out. 

HOW CAN I SUPPORT LEXINGTON PRIDE? 

Attending Pride is already a great way to show your support! You can also donate, volunteer, share the festival with friends and family, support our vendors and sponsors, and follow Lexington Pride on social media. Community support helps us keep Pride accessible and continue our work throughout the year.
 

Lexington Pride is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Donations are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law.
